4 quick ways to improve your marketing
Here are four things that would help improve your marketing. If you are not doing them already or if you know about them but have stopped doing them get started today.
1 Create a call to action
This could be as simple as a short checklist showing your skill in an area or a list of resources like software or books you find useful. Make it relevant so only people who might be prospects for your product or service will download it and make it valuable so they are glad you provided it.
2 Create a list of people you can keep in contact with
This should be people who might buy your services or know people who might buy your services, the call to action above can be a way of getting their contact information, but it can also contain people you meet at networking. All this is fine under GDPR provided you make it clear what you are doing and always provide an unsubscribe button. Obviously then keep in contact. NB I don’t just mean social media contacts because you are not in control of those lists and the rules could change.
3 Test your pricing
Even though it seems an obvious tactic there is a lot of evidence that prices that end in a 9 like 39 or 49 or 99 get higher conversion rates because we read numbers from the left. Also bizarrely not putting a £ sign increases purchase! It’s worth testing.
4 Clone your best customers
Think about your best customers and what makes them a great customer and then work out how to get more of them. A good way to start is to ask if they know other people like themselves?
